Yes. Even if you brush and floss after every meal and before bed, plaque bacteria can build up in the smallest cracks, crevices and pits of your teeth. Over time, teeth will begin to wear down in these areas, which can result in pain and partial or total tooth loss.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The cleaning and clinical examination consists of an examination of the teeth, gums and orofacial area, under magnification with special lenses. If you haven’t been to the dentist in a long time, or even if you have been and you haven’t had x-rays taken, we will need to take a series of x-rays in our office to get a more complete view of your teeth. You will also consult with Dimitrios Spiliopoulos and our dentists about any oral health problems you may have or questions you may have. For the cleaning we will use special tools to remove the plaque from your teeth. Finally, your teeth will be polished and we will discuss any treatments you may need.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Between dental cleanings and clinical exams, be sure to maintain good oral hygiene at home.
